Recent Projects:
Product for enabling low-literacy patients to communicate and administer a complicated medication regimen with their healthcare providers (patent pending). Currently in use by 24 patients as a part of "Improving Diabetes Efforts Across Language and Literacy" study at UCSF.
Developed a new medical device--an otoscope with improved tympanic membrane insufflation (patent pending) as part of a three-person team.
Authored software package for statistical image processing and analysis in use with the Cognex SmartView inspection system at 300+ locations worldwide.

Teaching Assistant, Stanford University Product Realization Lab (PRL) and Biodesign Collaboratory.
Lab TA for "Manufacturing and Design" teaching usage of shop tools and processes including: manual and CNC milling, lathe turning, rapid prototyping (FDM, Laser cutting), investment and sand casting, welding (TIG, MIG, Arc), sheet metal, vacuum forming, and injection molding. Biodesign TA for prototyping medical devices using silicone casting, Nitinol, and catheter building. September 2002-Present.

Designed and ran a marketplace assessment/test for competitive pump technology in the liquid-cooled electronics space. June 2003-August 2003.
